Altered Carbon by Richard K. Morgan

Very good & I will definitely be reading more of this series. Takeshi was a great protagonist & the future San Francisco & the society the characters live in was so well drawn, I was pulled right into the story. The sleeving was fascinating & I liked that there was so much explained about it given Takeshi's first case is with a man who is "murdered" but is immediately resleeved as he has immeasurable wealth that affords him the luxury of having many sleeves & to have already lived a few hundred years. The case unraveled well & I was held by the mystery as much as the scifi. Definitely a good read.
