I'm a sucker for stories set on space stations and this also had trade, politics and diplomacy so I had to request this on Netgalley. Add in some planetary destruction and I was completely intrigued.

It's 2020 and I just needed a comfort read so what better way than to take a dip into hygge by way of some chick-lit.

For half of this, I thought I'd rate this around 2.5 stars but around the 56% mark, I felt like the story hit its stride (or I acquiesced to it). I began enjoying it more and couldn't put it down. By the book's end it had me feeling so hopeful that I felt that for me, this was more a 4-star event. So strong 3-star for the whole thing.

It's fecking brilliant, people!! One of my favourites of 2020! I can't even express here my joy after reading through that there will be another (A pre-order prompt? Yes, please, take my money!).

After days of a book hangover from this, I can finally put down some of my thoughts about this gem of a read.

This was a page-turner and it pulled me right in. Prue, a twenty-four-year-old from a small village swaps homes with Madi, a sixty-two-year-old from London. They both have good reason to get away from home for a month and when the story opens the "Why?" is part of the mystery to be unravelled.

This is the third in this series that I've read and I am still enjoying the collected works. Another seasonal read for me and I thought this was a very good collection.

It's not so often that I choose a book from the First Reads option on Kindle. Months can pass and nothing with pique my interest but In The Dark did and I'm glad I finally got around to reading it.

I picked this up and it wouldn't let me put it down very long so I wound up finishing this in about a day. I very much enjoyed this and I want to talk about ALL THE THINGS but that wouldn't be cool because spoilers.

I came for the climate change and got a whole of lot internal character angst. A lot. I liked this overall but I didn't love the way it was told. The timelines going back and forth really sapped the pace and suspense of both.
