Super Tuesday

I come from a long line of politicos. We're absolute addicts of all things political and love to hash over and debate in depth. It's kind of a lifelong discussion that we have going. So yesterday, I was all but entirely mesmerized by coverage on MSNBC. This cut into my daily reading time but was perfect for me to begin a crochet project.

I picked up some very luxe silk yarn from a shop on Etsy called Craftyyarn. It's a really sweet bubblegum pink and perfect for a preppy something for the upcoming warmer weather. So then I bounced over to kpixie for the perfect shade of green yarn. I found that in Blue Sky Alpacas Silk Alpaca yarn in Peapod.
So with all my yarns assembled I dove right in yesterday to make another Travelghan/wrap for my shop. The yarns are absolutely sublime to work with and I can't wait to see the finished product.

Much like Decision '08... it's not yet resolved or over. ;) Works in progress it seems, are just the motivation I usually need to get off my ass and get to work. So with that, I'm signing off. I'm behind on my reading and need to finish a project.

  5. Thanks for the compliments and dropping in guys! My goal is to make a round of blogs on a regular basis, so I'm sure I'll be back!

And yeah, pink & green is just about one of my all time fave combos, so there will be more of that popping up from time to time. :)

allison, seriously the Blue Sky Silk Alpaca is so scrummy that it's mostly what I use for my items off Etsy. I may have to start using it more in my shop though. TDF all the way! :D I'll have to give the cotton a whirl.
